Thankful for...

Alright with Thanksgiving fast approaching I am thankful for Paul my husband...the one that is always there to lift me up when I fall down...the one that I can cry out to and is there in a flash holding me...I am thankful for Paul...I am also thankful to each of my kids..God blessed me with 4 wonderful kids...they may get on my nerves but what kid don't...Amanda is my oldest and trying to find who she wants to be but yet when she gets scared she finds her way back to the safety of my wings much like I do with God whenever I get scared I run to my God and she can always make me laugh when I don't want to..Kevin is my only boy and always reminds me of the love God has for me...you know the story of Jesus giving his life for us...when I see my son I am always reminded of God's love for me..I can't imagine sending my son to die for someone I don't know plus Kevin reminds me that life is to short not to laugh...Meagan is my third child which is just now learning that she has a voice and can use it to get what she wants much like I do with God whenever I am in need of something I go to my God.... Meagan also has some wild hair and she reminds me that its not how wild your hair looks but how wild your heart is for someone...my youngest is Chelsea she may be small but watch out..much like how I am when I am faced with someone I am afraid of... I know I am small in this world but to my God I am huge..much like
david and goliath from the Bible..Chelsea may be small but she can bring the big boys down crying...So as you can see each of my kids are my true blessing and I am thankful for each one of them because without them I wouldn't be me..

I am also thankful for all of my family and my friends...they are all so special to me cause they keep me going when I feel defeated by the world..to my mom I love you and thank you for being there for me and saying "life will be ok my daughter" a special thanks to Mel for taking time out of your busy day to text me without making me feel like crap when I text you complaining...

dinner

OK i was told to start a blog about how my dinner looks and what we are eating...

I was always told that I do portion size meals just right..so I want to share it with everyone else..I am also going to show you the utensils that i use to get the right size portions..

ok here is the utensils that i like to use..
The orange spoon is for my youngest child-also known as the pickiest eater I got. She is only 6 yrs old and I find using the smaller spoon gives her the right amount of food and then none goes to waste.
The black spoon is for my 8yr old and 11 yr old..its bigger then the orange spoon and there for it gives them the right amount of food.
The purple spoon is for my 14 yr old, my husband and myself as we are the older ones in the house..Plus purple is my favorite color anyway..lol
Now that you have seen my spoons now onto what I had for dinner...

Monday October 12, 2009
I fixed some fried polish sausage, seasoned mixed greens, and tomato flavor rice(i will explain in a moment about that)
the mixed greens is:
These are so good and I found them at Wal-mart for only $.98 for each can..They don't need any seasoning cause its already in it.

My tomato rice:
Very simple to make..I fixed enough for 6 servings as my family loves rice plus again with serving sizes I had left over.. but start out with boiling the 3cups of water and I put in 3tbsp of the tomato bullion let it boil and then add the rice and take it off the burner let it stand with a lid on..when its done fluff up the tomato flavored rice and enjoy..
I got the tomato bullion at Wal-mart but not sure how much it cost..its in the isle with the Hispanic items, right next to the taco stuff.

well that was my Monday dinner hope you enjoy it as much as my family did.
